So. For the new issue of Alternative Press that's coming out (100 Bands You Need to Know In 2012), Breathe Carolina and We Came As Romans are gracing the cover. Not gonna lie, I'm stoked. I've been a huge Breathe Carolina fan for a long time, and i'm super excited to see them on something as big as Alt Press. Every single one of you need to make sure to check out BC and WCAR, as well as Alternative Press. So. It's been a while since i last wrote anything. Laptop charger broke...so i'm out of luck on that one. I figured, "Hey. Why not blog in my Yearbook class? I'm not doing anything else!" So as i'm sitting here trying to figure out whatto say in this and what to call it, i ask my buddy Samaaaan.She gives me a title, and tells me to write about how aewsome she is. So why not?
It's the truth. This kid is pretty legit. I have to say she's one of the nicest kids i know. Sam always know how to make me laugh and feel better even if she doesn't know she's doing it. I honestly can't think of a single time i haven't laughed hysterically from being around her or hearing her stories. If you asked for a favorite, i probably couldn't choose; just tell you it's anything from her Cosby Sweater to letting a cow loose in the caf to not feeding animals at lunch. There's never a dull moment around her and i am definitely excited she and i became friends this year. I'm sooo gonna miss that kid.

This show was one of the sickest shows i've ever been to. Everything from the venue to the bands playing to the letlive. vocalist yelling at security for being hard on kids.. It was all just...perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better night. I got out of school early thanks to the coolest kids ever, Darrah and Andie, and headed to Columbus. I got left outside in line alone, making them douchebags but found out it totally worked out okay because Vic Fuentes and Jaime Preciado of Pierce the Veil and Austin Thornton of Woe, is Me came out side and chilled with kids in line for a bit. As the show started, i was completely blown away. letlive. were some really cool guys and they went absolutely crazy on stage. The Amity Affliction were really great too, but i didn't know them. Or letlive. for that matter. It was when Woe, is Me came on that the show REALLY started. The crowd was insane! Everyone was off their feet and for good reason. WiM have such a great stage presence. They put on an amazing show! The extremely humorous thing about them is that their new singer, Hance Allgood, came out on stage and i could have swore it was Tyler Carter. I wasn't far away or anything. I was RIGHT there. And i thought it was Tyler.. The other funny part is that when they played [&] Delinquents they had a recording of Tyler's vocals. They know they can't replace him! Pierce the Veil and Miss May I killed. There's nothing else I can really say about them. It was just awesome. End of story. I'll fix links later. As of now, i'm off yo clean. Latuh nukkahs!

So. It's Saturday, Monday is Halloween, and guess who doesn't have a costume yet? It's mainly because I wasn't going to do anything but pass out candy and watch Goosebumps from the early 90s, but in light of recent events, I've had a change of heart. My high schools is having a big costume contest and I want to participate, my only problem is that I don't know what to wear. I'm too poor to buy anything... And we aren't aloud to wear masks. Hopefully Google can help solve my problem. I'm considering being Kimber Benton, I'm just not sure. So. What are you going to be for Halloween? Zombie? Princess? Rocker? So. Not even gonna lie. Halloween is by far my favorite holiday. I simply love it because of what it's associated with. I love horror. I love the feeling you get when you can successfully hide behind a mini-van in a Michael Myers outfit and prey on innocent sleeping victims. I love seeing all the kids dress up and how much fun they have when they go door to door.I love decorating; putting up witches, hanging ghosts in trees, and carving pumpkins. That's when I'm truly happiest. Speaking of carving pumpkins... I just finished mine tonight! It looks awesome, I'm stoked(: I'll put up a picture on Facebook, probably Twitter too. I have to say though, one thing that seriously bums me out about Halloween is when adults get on their high horse and like to claim that teenagers shouldn't get candy. In fact. while looking for pumpkin stencils online earlier, I ran across this guy, really famous for his pumpkins, who had created a video on how to get back at the people in a "trend around his neighborhood where people 15-20 like to think they can get free candy." It honestly just ruined my mood at the moment. I believe that no matter if you're 5, 10, 15, or 40, if you take the time to dress up and create a costume for yourself, you should get candy. We put the effort into it just as much as little kids do, if not more. I find it completely unfair. But. That's enough ranting for now. I have to get up in 4 hours. PEACE! Yep. This girl. I haven't gotten around to getting any more blogs up... Lol. Can't help it. HOWEVER, something to lighten the mood, it's Red Ribbon Week, so i'm super stoked. Pajama day, Hat day, Sweats day... It's the best. Next to Spirit Week, of course. I live for these days at school, they're great shots for yearbook, too. Lol. Well, this was pretty pointless.
